Mozilla Thunderbird Mail Setup
These screenshots from Mozilla Thunderbird show how to set up a PKR mail account. First, set up a new account in Thunderbird. This happens the first time you start Thunderbird, or you can go to the "Tools...Account Settings" menu and choose the "Add Account..." button.
Follow these steps:

Give Thunderbird your name and PKR-hosted email address next:

Give Thunderbird your PKR user name:

If all has gone well, you will see this screen:

Choose whether to make Thunderbird your main mail client: (either choice works)

We are almost there, but the wizard does not have all the settings required to get things working, so you'll see this warning next: (ignore it)

After the warning, you'll see Thunderbird's main screen. Go to the "Tools...Account Settings" menu to continue.

In the "Tools...Account Settings" menu, double-check your name and email address, then go to the "Server Settings" option screen.

In the "Server Settings" option screen, click on "SSL" in Security Settings. Also, select the 'Clean Up ("Expunge") Inbox on Exit box. Then, click on the "Advanced" button:

Once you've clicked on the "Advanced", button, put in "mail/" in the "IMAP server directory" field, and uncheck "Show only subscribed folders", then hit "OK".

Then, go to the "Outgoing Server (SMTP)" screen, and click on the "Edit" button:

In the SMTP Server dialog box, check "Use name and password", use your PKR user name, and select "TLS". Note: if your ISP blocks outgoing port 25, you can use port 587 instead.
